How safe can a ladder be? We really see no limits. Therefore, we work continuously to develop both our product range and our production and we carry out regular tests and audits so that we can be sure that you are always safe.
We have our own factory in Nässjö, Sweden where we manufacture the majority of our trestles and ladders. There we have full control of not only of the quality of the products but of course also that the environment and people are being treated well. We are quality certified according to ISO 9001 and environmentally certified according to ISO 14 001
A small part of our range is manufactured by external suppliers. We visit these regularly and perform audits to ensure that our products are manufactured in accordance with our requirements for the environment, people and quality.
In our factory we also have our own test facility where we can do both static and dynamic testing. We have a test program where we do monthly spot-check in both our production and among our stocked products. In our dynamic test rig, we can expose our products to extremely tough stresses, our step ladders and trestles are tested in cycles of 50,000 repetitions with loads of 150 kg. And to make it even tougher, we also test on uneven surfaces. Some of our PROF + trestles are subjected to even harsher treatments with loads up to 200 kg and 100,000 repetitions.
We develop most of our products ourselves and design them with the user in focus. That is because we want to make sure that our ladders, trestles and scaffolding are the best you can find and meet the requirements of the most demanding craftsmen. When using a product from us, you can rest assured that you have a product that is well thought out in terms of functionality, ergonomics and durability.
There are a few laws and regulations that apply to ladders and scaffolding, we do our utmost to follow them so that you will have to think about them as little as possible. The most basic thing that applies to most of our products is that they must be type-approved according to current standards. Therefore, we let RISE test and type approve all our products that are covered by a standard.
