PROF+ Leaning Ladder LPX

Our PROF+ leaning ladder LPX is designed for the real world which is famously not flat. So we have developed a new concept for leaning ladders. The ladders come equipped with extension legs that make levelling on a sloping or uneven surfaces easier than ever, they can level up to 20 cm. The ladders are also equipped with safety legs. These stabilise the ladder in all directions, preventing the two most common causes of accidents, that the ladder falls over sideways or that the base slips along the ground.

The ladders are also extra wide, giving you better reach and plenty of space to climb comfortably and safely. Top brackets with integrated hinges enable you to use easily use ladder in a free-standing position as well. The LPX is approved according to European standard EN 131 and the box-profiles adds significantly to the ladder’s sturdiness and stability.

These leaning ladders are a combination of proven technology and new innovations developed in close collaboration with experienced craftsmen. They are available as one-piece ladders, or double and triple extension ladders in lengths up to 10 meters.

PROF Leaning Ladder LPR

PROF leaning ladders LPR is based on the same extra wide ladder as the LPX. But instead of our concept with levelling and safety legs it comes equipped with a standard stabiliser.

The LPR is available as a one-piece ladder, or double and triple extension ladders in lengths up to 10 meters.

BASE Leaning Ladder LBA

Our BASE model LBA is a great choice for professionals and DIY who use the ladder less frequently or for less demanding work. These ladders are 400 mm wide, light and adhere to the European standard EN 131.

A stabiliser is included with all LBA models over 3 meters, to avoid one of the most common causes of accidents, namely the ladder falling over sideways. The LBA is available as a one-piece or double extension ladder in lengths up to 7 meters.

Safety equipment

To be able to work safely on a ladder, it is important to understand why accidents happens. The most common causes of accidents with leaning ladders are that the ladders either tip over sideways or that the base slips away from the wall.

The best way to prevent these accidents is to make sure that the ladders are properly secured and and stand on a firm surface. You may often need to combine several different types of equipment. But if you choose our LPX ladders they come equipped with everything you need to work safely in almost any situation. Although if you are going to be working on higher heights you can never go wrong with a bit of extra safety and stability.

If you are working on a standard leaning ladder secure it at the top if possible. Safety hooks, a fixed slide protection or top stabilisers for concrete sections can be used. A stabiliser at the base is also a good alternative. But keep in mind that you need really good friction against the ground, otherwise you should also secure the ladder so that the base cannot slip. A strap fastened in a ground spear or similar works great.

Telescopic ladders

The great advantage of telescopic ladders is that they are easy to transport and store. They fit easily in the car or in a storage room. Another benefit is that they can be used at exactly the length you need, making them ideal for indoor use and in narrow spaces. They also have an air-braking closing mechanism that retracts the ladder in a controlled motion to minimize the risk of pinch injuries.
