Choose the right ladder or scaffold
To find the right product for the job ask yourself at what height will I be working, what type of work do I need to perform and how often will I be using the ladder?
At what height do you need to work?
The height is of course a crucial factor when choosing a ladder. Always try to find a height where you can perform your work in a comfortable position without having to stretch in order to reach your work area.
When working indoors there is a tendency to choose products that are a bit too high, make sure to choose a height where you can utilise the platform and fall protection as much as possible instead of standing on the steps or the rungs.
You should also consider your need to reach sideways. Work platforms and scaffolding have larger platforms that allows the climber to move and reach larger areas. This reduces the need to reposition the ladder as often or to lean dangerously outside the ladder.

Most of our products are all-round products that can be used for a wide range of tasks. But they all have different characters, safety features and height capabilities, so consider which type of product that will be the most suitable for your type of work.
Work trestles and step stools
Work trestles are wider and have larger platforms than most step ladders giving you plenty of space to move around. Step stools are more compact, perfect for work in smaller spaces, and easy to carry around and store.
Material trestles
Here you will find products for handling OSB, plywood and plaster boards. Our adjustable trestle can also be used as a support while sawing or as legs if you need an extra table.
Step ladders
Step ladder are great all-round products for work on low and medium heights. A ladder with a platform gives you a workspace with fall protection on three sides and a tool tray so you can free up your hands. Double sided step ladders allow you to work on both sides, a great choice when you need to cover large areas along a wall. And if you need to perform work in a stair, check out our stair ladder 55S.
Work platforms
Work platforms can perhaps best be described as heavy-duty step ladders. You’ll get larger platforms and better fall protection allowing you to perform heavier and longer tasks. Our HAP has a height adjustable platform so you always can find an ergonomic work position. The TMR has a less steep inclination for more comfortable and safer climbing.
Scaffolding
With scaffolding you can work anywhere from just a few decimetres of the ground and up to 12 meters. These are products that are suitable for heavier and longer work with great stability, large platforms and extensive fall protection.
Leaning ladders
Leaning ladders are great for quick and light tasks along a wall or a facade or for accessing a roof. Check out our LPX-range, a unique ladder concept with both levelling so you can work on uneven surfaces and 3D stabilisers that stabilises the ladder in all directions.

BASE
For less challenging applications.
These are more basic products for the price conscious pro or DIY. They aren’t for the heaviest tasks and won't get you to the highest heights. But that on the other hand, allows them to be relatively slim, light and easy to handle.
It might be tempting to choose a cheaper and lighter ladder. But once you are working on a product with better stability, a larger platform and better fall protection you will see that this will allow you to work more efficiently. So, in the long run a better ladder, where you can relax, move more freely and put more focus on your job instead of your balance will be a better investment in both safety and efficiency.
